Informatics Network Sweden is

• A network for cooperation within the higher education and research in informatics, with emphasis on adopting the technique to human and society needs
  
• A possibility for smaller universities and university colleges to get access to high scientific competence and research in a cost effective way
  
• A netbased academy for promotion of issues within organisational and human aspects of IT-use and IT-design

The agenda is to

• Provide education on advanced level and PhD courses
  
• Write research applications in co-operation with our international partners
  
• Arrange workshops in order to produce scientific articles
  
• Promote post-doc activities within universities and companies
• Increase research co-operation by the members by concrete participation in our projects
